Part-time Senior Project Officer
Open Access Australasia is a member organisation of 31 Australian universities, eight Aotearoa New Zealand universities and seven affiliate organisations. The purpose is to support social equity through the provision of Open Access (OA) to research outputs via advocacy, collaboration, raising awareness and leading and building capacity activities. It is hosted by the UNSW Library.
The Senior Project Officer, Open Access Australasia works closely with the Director, Open Access Australasia (OAA), to support the overall leadership and direction of Open Access Australasia. The successful applicant will play a key role in OAA and will be involved in all aspects of running of the organization, including drafting responses to policy initiatives regionally and internationally, providing advice to members on open access policy developments, supporting training initiatives and external outreach through writing, presentations and curation of the website and social media.
- Employment Type: Part-time 21 hours per week
- Duration: 12 months fixed term
- Remuneration: $100,331 – $108,588 + 17% superannuation (pro-rata)
- Location: Kensington, NSW (hybrid flexible options)
