We’re looking for the next Director of Open Access Australasia!
The Director will be expected to lead the development of strategy and directing activities to ensure the goals of the group are met for open scholarship in Australasia.
The Director works under the broad direction of the Executive Committee of Open Access Australasia and has three major roles:
- Makes a major contribution to the development and implementation of open access policies and practices across Australasia, specifically in publicly funded Australasian research institutions, through a range of activities.
- Advises, supports and, where appropriate, drives the development of national approaches to open scholarship.
- Represents the interests and needs of Australasian institutions and other bodies at relevant global initiatives.
